As Modelia’s CEO / Casting Manager, Dion bridges the gap between raw potential and high-fashion reality. With over a decade of experience in traditional casting across Europe, the US and East Africa, he grew frustrated seeing the same faces simply because others couldn’t afford professional portfolios. At Modelia, Dion leads the evaluation of our AI-generated test boards, looking past the digital environments to identify true versatility, unique bone structure, and natural presence.

Personal Experience

“During my earlier traditional casting days, I once had to turn away a brilliant young woman from Budapest simply because her submission photos were blurry and poorly lit. We couldn’t pitch her to any of our clients. That heartbreak changed how I view scouting.
